in the sense that nobody dies easy (unless they clearly want to) and realistic
in the sense that in situations of strife, I expect players to play their
characters, not devolve into a generic hero-type.
- Interconnected:
Separate Scenes and TPs tend to tie in to each other.
- My storytelling
tends towards comedic commentary and the cinematic.
- Participants
will be challenged on a philosophical level.
- Scientific
law applies. Creative expression will only bend things so far.
- I am willing
to conduct one-on-one scenarios, but if I'm going to run a TP of any significant
length, I would much rather have two or more consistent participants from
the playerbase. |

- Most important
to me is a good attitude in interactions with players; I tend to
go way out of my way to serve genuinely nice earnest personalities.
Distant, arrogant, or passive-aggressive people turn me right the
hell off.
- I like folks
who keep their characters 'human'. Let your character look foolish
or make errors. Have a sense of humor about it. Don't take yourself
too seriously. I'll admire you for it. It's the people whose
characters act like fools or jerks... and their players don't even know
it... that worry me. |

- Realism takes precedence
over generics: The lines between right and wrong are usually blurred. Nothing
is ever clearly black and white but more shades of gray. Most plots will
emphasize specific victories and small triumphs over completely vanquishing
the grand evil and riding off into the sunset.
- Plots can be of
any size, ranging from a few atmosphere setting poses to weeks of involvement.
Smaller scenes tend to have this awful tendency to link together with much
larger events.
- Cause and effect:
Actions (positive or negative) taken during one event may completely redirect
the course of others in the future. |

-I'm generally not
looking to kill anyone, but actions and decisions that aren't well thought
out or are suicidal may lead to results that would make someone yearn for
death.
-Ignorance is no
excuse for inappropriate actions. Things that make me not happy: players
who don't keep up to date on policies, procedures, and current events on
the MUSH, people who have to be corrected on the above items repeatedly,
and people who have to be corrected on the above items repeatedly. That's
right. It double irks me. :) |
